Press to turn power ON and press again to switch to STANDBY mode.

wDisc tray

ePHONES jack

For connecting stereo headphones. When the headphones are connected to this jack, the speaker sound is turned off.

rOPEN/CLOSE 0 button

Press this button to open and close the disc tray.

Note

If you press the OPEN/CLOSE 0 button in except CD mode, the sound source is changed to CD mode automatically.

tMaster VOLUME Knob

To increase or decrease sound level. To increase the sound level turn clockwise, and to decrease turn counter-clockwise

yDIRECT button

Used to select Tone Direct Onor Tone Direct Off.

uMENU button

Displays the Tuner menu.

iINPUT button

Used to select sound sources: CD, FM, AM, TAPE, MD or DVD.

oTone Control TREBLE

Adjusts the Treble sound while the Tone Direct Off is selected.

!0Tone Control BASS

Adjusts the Bass sound while the Tone Direct Off is selected.

!2STOP 7 button

This is used to stop the CD playback.

!3IR SENSOR

!4PLAY/PAUSE 6 button

This is used to start CD playback or pause CD playback.

Note

If you press the PLAY/PAUSE 6 button in except CD mode, the sound source is changed to CD mode automatically.

!5Easy JOG PUSH TO ENTER

CD Mode

Preceding or subsequent tracks can be searched (tracks can be skipped) by turning the jog dial clockwise or counterclockwise.

Push the this knob during play back CD, jump to the next track.

Tuner Mode:

This knob is used in conjunction with the MENU button, and is used to select and determine the operation mode.

Also, this knob is used for the TUNING/PRESET search.

In the tuning mode, the reception frequency is tuned up or down. Turning the control in the clockwise direction tunes the frequency up. Tuning the control in the counterclockwise direction tunes the reception frequency down. In the preset mode, the selection of the preset channel is moved up or down. The auto tuning operation cannot be used when in this mode.
