CONNECTING A DVD PLAYER OR HDTV SET TOPBOX WITH DOLBY DIGITAL OPTICAL OUTPUT TO VIDEO INPUTS 1 or 2COMPONENT: Y-PBPR1. Connect the cable from the Y OUT of the DVD player or HDTV Set Top Box to the VIDEO input (Y) jack, as shown on the TV set below.2. Connect the cable from the CB/PBOUT or B-Y OUT of the DVD player or HDTV Set Top Box to the VIDEO input (PB) jack.3. Connect the cable from the CR/PROUT or R-Y OUT of the DVD player or HDTV Set Top Box to the VIDEO Input (PR) jack.4. Connect the cable from the OPTICAL OUTPUT of the DVD player or HDTV Set Top Box to the OPTICALinput jack.5. Press the VID1~VID3 button, to view the program from the DVD player or HDTV Set Top Box. The VIDEO icon disappears automatically after approximately eight seconds.6. Press the ANT button to return to the previous channel.NOTES: 1. Completely insert the connection cord plugs when connecting to rear panel jacks. The picture and sound that is
played back will be abnormal if the connection is loose.
2. See page 12 for tips on REAR PANEL CONNECTIONS.3. If your device is connected to VIDEO 1 component jacks, make sure to select VID1-OPTICAL from the THEATER-INPUTSOURCE menu. If it is connected to VIDEO 2 component jacks, make sure to select VID2-OPTICAL from the THEATER-INPUTSOURCE menu.
