LTrimming a tree is the process of cutting limbs from a living tree. Make

sure footing is firm. Keep feet apart. Divide your weight evenly on both

 

feet.

1.

Make first cut six inches from tree trunk on underside of limb. Use

 

 

Htop of guide bar to make this cut. (Cut 1/3 through diameter of limb, see Fig. 5-1A)

2.Move two to four inches farther out on limb. Make second cut from

above limb. make second cut from above limb. Continue cut until you cut limb off.

3.Make third cut as close to tree trunk as possible on underside of limb stub. Use top of guide bar to make this cut. Cut 1/3 through diameter of stub.

4.Make fourth cut directly above third cut. Cut down to meet third cut. This will remove limb stub.

Faire la première coupe à 6 pouces du tronc du dessous de la branche. Utiliser le haut du guide-chaîne pour

 

cette coupe. ( Couper 1/3 du diamètre de la branche; voir fig. 5-1A)

Faire la seconde coupe mais du dessus à deux ou quatre pouces plus loin sur la branche. Continuer à couper

 

 

jusqu’à ce que la branche tombe.

Faire la troisième coupe le plus près possible du tronc par le dessous de la souche de la branche. Utiliser la

 

 

partie supérieure du guide-chaîne pour faire cette coupe. Couper 1/3 du diamètre de la souche.

 

4.

La quatrième coupe se fait directement au-dessus de la troisième. Couper pour atteindre l’autre côté et faire

 

 

tomber la souche de la branche.

L1. Hacer el primer corte a unas 6 pulgadas de el tronco por debajo de la rama. Use la parte superior de la barra para hacer este corte. (Corte 1/3 de diametro de la rama, ver Fig 5-1A).

2.Mueva dos o cuatro pulgadas fuera de la rama. Hacer un segundo corte desde ariiba de la rama. Continue el corte hasta terminar de cortar la rama.

3.Hacer el tercer corte lo mas cercano al tronco, y lateralmente a a la rama.Use la parte superior para hacer este corte. Corte 1/3 dentro del diametro de la rama.

4.Hacer el cuarto corte directament sobre tercer corte. Corte hacia abajo para llegar al tercer corte. Esto removera la rama.
