Some desktop or windows manager do not provide a way to register menus with sub menu

ωSolution 1:

copy the NSM menu files to your desktop

$ cp <installpath>/desktop/*.menu ~/Desktop

ωSolution 2:

Bookmark the NSM Supervision Page in your favorite Internet Browser,

>https://< name or IP address of computer hosting NSM>:4680/mgeups/

>or http://< name or IP address of computer hosting NSM>:4679/mgeups/ and call the uninstall from the command line using

<Installation directory>/packaging/nsmInstaller –uninstall

ωSolution 3:

Add the menu entries using your favorite menu editor Entry 1: name : Supervision

:cmd : <Installation directory>/packaging/nsmInstaller –openURL <URL> with <URL>

Entry 2: name : Uninstall

On these platforms, just after Installation and configuration, the NSM has sufficient user rights to build the customized package.

After a computer reboot, the NSM doesn’t have sufficient user rights to build the customized package.

Solutions to build a customized package after reboot:

ωYou can install again the NSM on your computer, your configuration is not modified. Then you have sufficient user rights to build the customized package.

ωOr you can use the command line installation parameters to deploy a customised software

In the HTML pages.

In the page “Configuration -> Power Device”, when I click on the “Add” button the expected page is not displayed

Solution: Check if an anti popup filter is activated on your web browser and configure this filter to accept the page.

Check you don’t have the highest security level on IE

Cannot display the UPS properties page. HTTP 404 error with IE.
