Operating the dishwasher

Adding detergent

,Avoid inhalation of powder de- tergents and do not ingest dish- washer detergent! Dishwasher de- tergents contain irritant or corrosive ingredients. They can cause burning in the nose, mouth and throat if swal- lowed, or inhibit breathing. Consult a doctor immediately if detergent has been swallowed or inhaled. Keep children away from detergents and from the dishwasher when the door is open. There could still be deter- gent residues in the cabinet. To avoid the danger of children coming into contact with dishwasher deter- gent only add detergent just before starting the programme and close the door.

It is essential to follow the instruc- tions given in the programme chart at the end of the operating instruc- tions.

^Press the opening catch on the de- tergent dispenser. The flap will spring open.

The flap is always open at the end of a programme.

For information

Compartment I holds max. 20 ml, Compartment II holds max. 70 ml.

There are markings in compartment II to assist with dispensing. The marks in- dicate a level of approx. 20, 25, 30 ml when the door is open in a horizontal position.

^Add the required amount of deter- gent and close the flap.

^Ensure that the detergent package is properly sealed after use. Otherwise the detergent can lose its effective- ness.
