Before using for the first time
^Carefully fill with salt until water runs out. The salt container holds approx. 2.2 lbs (1 kg) of salt.
Do not fill with more than 2.2 lb (1 kg) salt.
As it is filled, water will run out.
^Clean any excess salt from the threads of the container opening. Close the lid firmly.
^If the dishwasher will not be used immediately, run the "Short" program. This will remove any traces of salt from inside the wash cabinet.
Salt refill message
^When the display shows Insufficient salt, refill the salt after the program has finished.
^Confirm with OK.
The message will clear from the display.
After the container has been filled, the water softener is automatically reactivated the next time the dishwasher is started. The Insufficient salt message will show again during this process. Confirm again with OK.
