3.3 Installing the USB device driver
When connecting the PagePro 4110W printer t o your computer with a
USB cable, you must first install the PagePro 4110W USB device driver
before you install the printer driver.

Note
In the following procedures it is assumed that you install the PagePro
4110W USB device driver on your computer for the first time.
This printer can only be connected with a USB cable if the computer is
running Windows 98, Windows Me, or Windows 2000.
Installing the USB device driver for Windows 98
1Switch on your computer and start Windows 98.
2Switch on the printer. Do not yet connect the USB cable.
3Check that Windows 98 has finished loading and that the printer is
ready.
4Insert the Software and Documentation CD-ROM supplied with your
printer into your comp uter’s CD-ROM drive.
5When the installation screen appears, close it.
6Connect the printer to the computer with the USB cable
(see page 2-16) to display the Add New Hardware Wizard dialogue.
