HotSync with the Computer

To HotSync your terminal with data on your computer, follow these simple steps:

Plug the RJ-45 connector into the Serial Jack on rear of the PS6S1800M cradle.

Turn off your computer and plug the DB-9 connector into the serial communications port on your computer.

Change the Modem/Serial Switch to the “Serial” position.

Your PS6S1800M requires a dedicated port. It cannot share a port with an internal modem or other device.

If you are unsure about the location of the serial port on your computer, refer to the user's manual supplied with the computer.
