ROAMING AND SYSTEM OPERATION

Contact your system operator, or that of the visited system, for informa- tion on dialing and billing procedures.

To use alternate long distance services when roaming, be certain to dial the appropriate area code and local number to access the alternate car- rier in the visited area. Then use the Tone Dialing sequence described on page 26. If you selected Two-System Operation (see page 21) enter ä,

£to verify the currently active number. This is especially important if your two home systems have different area codes, or if RM (Roam) is flashing within home service area.
