lock and unlock keypad

When your phone is closed and on the home screen, your keypad locks to prevent accidental key presses.

To lock your phone’s keypad, press /*.

lock and unlock external buttons

To lock the external buttons on your phone, slide the lock switch up to the locked position to reveal the red indicator beneath it.

To unlock the external buttons, slide the lock switch down to the unlocked position to reveal the green indicator above it.
