setting up e-mail

You can set up an e-mail on your phone to check and send messages. There are two ways to set up e-mail:

automatically or manually. If you have a Hotmail or Pocket MSN account, see Hotmail E-mail Setup on page 24.

Note: Some cell phone providers charge for e-mail services. Contact your cell provider for more information regarding service fees and charges.

automatic e-mail set up

Some e-mail providers allow for automatic e-mail set up. Have your e-mail address, username, and password ready and:

1Press Start > Messaging > Outlook E-mail.

2Select Menu > Options > New Account.

3In Your name, enter your display name for

e-mail messages.

4In E-mail address, enter the e-mail address for this account.

5Select Attempt to obtain e-mail settings from the

Internet and select Next.

Note: If the account sets up successfully, you will be prompted to send and receive e-mail.
