APPENDIX D CONFIGURING IP ADDRESS

INFORMATION

If your network has a proxy server, you will also need to modify Windows to bypass your proxy server for local IP addresses. To bypass your proxy server for local IP addresses, follow these steps:

1From the Windows Start menu, select Settings > Control Panel.

2Double-click on the Internet Options icon.

3Click on the Connections tab.

4Click LAN Settings….

5Select Bypass proxy server for local addresses, and click OK.

6Click OK.
