De radio in-/uitschakelen

Houd de MENU/-toets vast om de radio AAN/UIT te zetten.

Het volume aanpassen

Pas het volume aan met de toetsen en .

Het geluid (toetspiepsignalen) aanpassen

De radio geeft een piepsignaal wanneer op één van de toetsen wordt gedrukt (behalve de PTT- en -toets).

Houd de -toets vast terwijl u de radio aanzet om het geluid aan en uit te zetten.

Door het menu bladeren

De radio heeft twee menufuncties: Select Menu (Selectiemenu) en Mode Menu (Modusmenu).

1.Om naar het Select Menu te gaan, drukt u op de SEL/- toets.

2.Om naar het Mode Menu te gaan, drukt u op de MENU/- toets.

3.Wanneer u daarna opnieuw op de SEL/-toets of MENU/

-toets drukt gaat u vooruit in het menu.

4.Doe één van de volgende dingen om de menufunctie af te sluiten:

a.Houd de MENU/-toets vast,

b.Houd de PTT-, MON- of -toets vast

c.Wacht 10 seconden totdat het apparaat automatisch teruggaat naar de normale modus.

Communiceren met de radio

1.Houd de radio op 5 tot 8 cm van uw mond verwijderd.

2.Houd de PTT-toets ingedrukt terwijl u praat. Op het scherm verschijnt .

3.Laat de PTT-toets los. U kunt nu binnenkomende oproepen

ontvangen. Wanneer dit gebeurt, verschijnt op het scherm. Herhaal stap 1 om te beantwoorden.

Opmerking: Wanneer u 60 seconden lang blijft uitzenden, geeft de radio een TX Time Out-toon en knippert het -pictogram. De radio stopt met zenden.

Om met iemand te spreken, moeten beide radio's op hetzelfde kanaal en dezelfde subcode zijn ingesteld. Zie “Een kanaal en een subcode selecteren” hieronder.

Een kanaal selecteren:

1.SEL/-toets om naar het Select Menu te gaan. Ga door totdat de kanaalindicator knippert.

2. of naar het kanaal van uw keuze.

Een subcode selecteren:

1.SEL/-toets om naar het Select Menu te gaan. Ga door totdat de subcode-indicator knippert.

2. of naar de juiste subcode.

3.Sluit het Select Menu af.
