To assign a speed dial number to a Contacts entry:

1From the main screen, press the Right Soft Key (:) (Contacts) to open the CONTACT LIST.

2Use the Navigation Key (N) to scroll to the entry and press the Left Soft Key (:) (Edit).

3Scroll to the number to be assigned a speed dial number and press the Right Soft Key (:) (Options).

4Select Set Speed Dial by pressing the Center Select Key (M) (OK).

5Select an unassigned speed dial number and press the Center Select Key (M) (SET).

6When the phone prompts Add Contact to Speed Dial?, use the Navigation Key (N) to select Yes and press the Center Select Key (M) (OK).

7Press the Center Select Key (M) (SAVE).

To set the default number for a Contacts entry with multiple numbers:

1From the main screen, press the Right Soft Key (:) (Contacts) to open the CONTACT LIST.

2Use the Navigation Key (N) to scroll to the entry and press the Left Soft Key (:) (Edit).

3Scroll to the number to be set as the default number and press the Right Soft Key (:) (Options).

4Scroll to Set As Default and press the Center Select Key (M) (OK).

5When the phone prompts Set as Default?, use the Navigation Key (N) to select Yes and press the Center Select Key (M) (OK).
