When your phone’s flip is closed, you can use the Music Buttons (see page 2) to control the music player. To activate the Music Buttons, press any side key except the PTT Key.

To turn the music player on and off and make menu selections:

Music Buttons

turn music	Press & hold y (for at least four
player on	seconds).
& off
scroll	Press & release Ï or Î.
up/down
through menu
select menu	Press & release y.
option

Tip: When PTT is not active (see page 64), press the PTT key to turn on the music player.

To control music playback:

Music Buttons

pause/play	Press & release y.
fast forward	Press & hold Ï (for at least two
	seconds).
skip to next	Press & release Ï.
song
rewind	Press & hold Î (for at least two
	seconds).
skip back to	Press & release Î.
previous song
