numeric mode

After selecting numeric mode, press number keys to enter the numbers you want. When you finish entering numbers, press the Left Soft Key (:) (123) to switch to another entry mode.

symbol mode

In the SYMBOLS screen, use the Navigation Key (N) to scroll to a symbol and press the Center Select Key (M) (OK) to select it.

To search for additional symbols, press the Right Soft Key (:) (Next) to page down to the next set of symbols. Press the Left Soft Key (:) (Prev) to page up to the previous set.

text entry tips

To enter a space, press #.

To enter punctuation while entering text, press 1

repeatedly to enter a punctuation mark or other

character.

To edit or delete text while entering text, press right on the Navigation Key (N) to move the cursor to the right of text you want to edit. Press the Clear Key (&) to delete the character to the left of the cursor. Press and hold the Clear Key (&) to delete an entire word.
