send a text message

1From the main screen, press the Left Soft Key (:) (Message) to open ) MESSAGING.

2Select New Message by pressing the Center Select Key (M) (OK).

3Select TXT Message by pressing the Center Select Key (M) (OK).

4Use the keypad to enter a phone number, then press the Center Select Key (M) (OK).

Press the Right Soft Key (:) (Add), then select

From Contacts, Recent Calls, or Groups, and press the Center Select Key (M) For each entry you want to add, scroll to the entry and press the Center Select Key (M) (MARK). Press the Left Soft Key (:) (Done) when finished selecting entries.

5With the flashing cursor in the Text entry area, use the keypad to enter a message.

When you are entering text, you can press the Right Soft Key (:) (Options) to perform other actions with the message: Save As Draft, Add Graphic,

Add Sound, Add Quick Text, Priority Level, Validity Period, Cancel Message, or Add Name Card.

6Send the message by pressing the Center Select Key (M) (SEND).

view sent messages

1From the main screen, press the Left Soft Key (:) (Message) to open ) MESSAGING.

2Use the Navigation Key (N) to scroll to Sent and press the Center Select Key (M) (OK).

3Scroll to the message you want to view and press the Center Select Key (M) (OPEN).
