Navigating Through the Menus
The navigation keys on your phone allow you to scroll
through menus and options quickly and easily.
To navigate through a list-type menu, simply press your
navigation keys up or down. The scroll bar at the right
of the menu keeps track of your position in the menu at
all times. For a diagram of your phone’s menu, please
see “Your Phone’s Menu” on page ii.
Some features, such as Call History and Contacts,
allow you to access options by highlighting icons near
the top of the screen. To navigate through these
options, press your navigation keys left or right.

Selecting Menu Items

As you navigate through the menu, menu options are
highlighted. Select an item by highlighting it and
pressing S.
For example, to view your text messages:
1. Press S to access the main menu.
2. Select Messaging by highlighting it and
pressing S.
3. Select Text Messaging by highlighting it and
pressing S.
4. Select Inbox by highlighting it and pressing S.

Backing Up Within a Menu

To go to the previous menu:
Press =.
To return to standby mode:
Press O.

Touch-Sensitive Buttons

The touch-sensitive buttons that appear along the
bottom of your phone’s external display allow you to
access the phone’s features from standby mode
without opening the phone.
When you press and hold one of these touch-sensitive
buttons, your phone vibrates before accessing the
selected feature.
Note For the purposes of this guide, the above steps
condense into “Press Menu > Messaging > Text
Messaging > Inbox.
