The Vibrate Only and Silent alert styles silence your phone until you set another alert style.

Shortcut: From the home screen, press and hold # to quickly set the alert style to Vibrate Only.

You can change the ringtones that notify you of incoming calls and other events. You can also change the keypad tone volume and slide tone. The changes you make are applied to all alert styles.

Find it: s> u Settings > Sounds and Ringtones

1Press Sup/down to scroll to the setting you want to change, then press s.

2Change the setting as desired.

3Press Back to exit and save your changes.

Find it: s> u Settings > Sounds and Ringtones, > Ringtone

1Press Sup/down to scroll and listen to each ringtone in turn.

2Press sto set the highlighted ringtone as your call alert.

To create a new alert style with your own volume and

call alert settings:

Find it: s> u Settings > Sounds and Ringtones > Ring Mode

>Options > Create Ring Mode

1Press Sup/down to scroll to the default alert style name, then press sto select it.

2Change the alert style name as desired.
