You'll need to enter the following configuration settings:

SSID

The broadcast name that identifies the

 

WiFi network.

 

 

Profile Name

The name you want to use to identify

 

the network in the Saved Networks list.

 

 

Security Type

The network security type.

 

Depending on the security type, you

 

may need to enter a Network Key or

 

Passphrase: or Network Key: to access the

 

network.

 

 

Non-Broadcast

Select this option if the WiFi network

SSID

name is not being broadcast.

 

 

Tip: Check the available networks list

 

to see if the WiFi network name is

 

being broadcast.

view or edit a network profile

Find it: s> u Settings > WiFi > Saved Networks, scroll to

the network, press Options > Edit

send a network profile

Send a network profile in a text message to another phone or compatible device:

Find it: s> u Settings > WiFi > Saved Networks, scroll to

the network, press Options > Send to

receive a network profile

Your phone notifies you when you receive a network profile text message from another device.

Press Options, then press Save to save the network profile to the Saved Networks list.

Tip: Press Options, then press View to see network details before you save the network profile.
