Note: You need to have WiFi power turned on for other devices to connect and access the shared files on your phone (see page 89).

set your device name

To set or change the device name you present to other devices on the WiFi network:

Find it: s> j Multimedia > Media Server > Advanced Settings

>Device Name

1Enter the name you want to use for your phone.

2Press Save to save the name.

To control access of other devices to the shared files on your phone:

Find it: s> j Multimedia > Media Server > Advanced Settings

>File Sharing Security > security setting

Notify Me First

You're prompted to grant access every

 

time a device tries to connect to your

Allow Trusted

Gives automatic access to devices that

Accept Any

Gives automatic access to any device

When you grant access to a device that tries to connect to your phone, the device is automatically added to your Trusted Devices list. When you deny access to a device, the device is added to your Banned Devices list.
