TROUBLESHOOTING (MIXER/ELECTRIC MOTOR)

SYMPTOM	POSSIBLE PROBLEM	SOLUTION
	Material load too heavy,	Reduce amount of material being mixed.
	exceeding mixer capability?
	Object stuck inside mixing	Stop engine. Empty out drum contents. Remove
	drum, jamming paddle
		obstruction.
	rotation?
Blades will not rotate.	Incorrect relief valve	Inspect for proper 1750 PSI relief pressure.
	pressure?
	Check engine speed.	Proper RPM 3600.
	Defective hydraulic motor or	Contact MQ Technical Services.
	pump?
	Slow hydraulic cylinder	Defective cylinder seal.
	dumping?
Material leaking from drum	Worn or defective paddle	Replace seals.
ends.	shaft seals?
	Defective or worn drum	Apply grease to bracket or replace.
Drum difficult to discharge	support brackets?
(tilt)	Blades adjusted too tight.	Adjust blades until they almost touch side walls of
		drum.

Blades will not rotate.	Defective extension cord?	Replace extension cord.
