4.0FINISHING

4.1DOOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

The upper louvres must be removed to allow the door to be opened or closed. To access the lower door latch, open the valve control door. Release the top and bottom door latches, located at the right side of the door.

NOTE: The protective wrap on plated parts is best

removed when the assembly is at room temperatureDOOR LATCH but this can be improved if the assembly is warmed,

using a hair dryer or similar heat source.

4.2DOOR GLASS REPLACEMENT

!WARNING

DO NOT USE SUBSTITUTE MATERIALS.

GLASS MAY BE HOT, DO NOT TOUCH GLASS UNTIL COOLED.

CARE MUST BE TAKEN WHEN REMOVING AND DISPOSING OF ANY BROKEN GLASS OR

DAMAGED COMPONENTS. BE SURE TO VACUUM UP ANY BROKEN GLASS FROM INSIDE THE

APPLIANCE BEFORE OPERATION.

DO NOT OPERATE THE APPLIANCE WITH THE GLASS DOOR REMOVED, CRACKED OR BROKEN.

Place the door frame face down careful not to scratch the paint.

Center the gasketed glass inside the door frame with the thick side of the gasket facing up.

Bend the glass retainers located along the edge of the door frame over the gasket holding the glass in place. Careful not to break the glass.

NOTE: Care must be taken when removing and disposing of any broken glass or damaged compo- nents. Be sure to vacuum up any broken glass from inside the appliance before operation.
