LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS
Open lid.
Ensuring all burner controls are in the off position,
slowly turn on the gas supply valve.

Main Burner Lighting
Push in on any main burner knob and turn to “HI”. A
click should be heard from the valve, sending a spark
to light the pilot flame.
If ignition is not immediate,
turn burner control off.
Wait 5 minutes.
If the burner will not light after several attempts, it can be lit by inserting a lit extended match or lighter through the cooking grids
to the burner. Push the knob in and turn to “HI”.
Rear Burner Lighting
Remove warming rack. (the excess heat will cause the rack to warp.)
Push the knob and hold
for approximately 5
seconds before rotating. This allows gas to reach the rear burner. Rotate the knob to “HI” and press
the igniter button.
If ignition is not immediate,
turn burner control off.
Wait 5 minutes.
If the burner will not light after several attempts, it can be lit by holding a lit extended match or lighter against the burner. Push the knob in and turn to “HI”.
Side Burner Lighting
Open burner cover.
Push the side burner
control knob and turn to “HI” position. A click should be heard form the valve, sending a spark to light the pilot flame.
If ignition is not immediate,
turn burner control off.
Wait 5 minutes.
If the burner will not light after several attempts, it can be lit by holding a lit extended match or lighter against the burner. Push the knob in and turn to “HI”.
The propane cylinder is equipped with an excess flow device. Unless all burners are turned off prior to turning the cylinder on, only small flames and low heat will be achievable.
