DO'S DON'TS

Readthe entire instruction manual before operating the
gasgrill.
Maintainproper clearance to combustibles (510mm (20")
torear of unit, 155mm (6") to sides). Additionalclearance
isrecommended near vinyl siding or large panes of glass.
Leaktest the unit before initial use, annually and whenever
anygas components are replaced.
Followlighting instructions carefully when operating grill.
Burnercontrols must be off when turning supply cylinder
valveon.
Ensuresear plates are positioned properly according to
searplate installation instructions.
Cleangrease tray and sear plates regularly to avoid build-
upwhich may lead to grease fires.
Removewarming rack before lighting rear burner. (The
extremeheat will damage the warming rack.)
Useprotective gloves when handling any hot components.
Donot route hose behind front leg - hose must run around
frontside of leg.
Donot use condiment tray to store lighters, matches or any
othercombustibles.
Donot locate unit under unprotected combustible
construction.
Donot operate rear burner with main burners operating.
Donot leave grill unattended when operating.
Donot light burners with lid closed.
Donot move grill when hot or operating.
Donot allow cold water (rain, sprinkler, hose, etc.) to come
incontact with heated unit. Alarge temperature differential
cancause chipping in the porcelain.
Donot manipulate any parts that have been sealed by the
manufacturer.
Donot use the bottom shelf of the unit for spare cylinder
storage.
GAS CYLINDER
Useonly gas cylinders which meet national and regional codes. Ensurethat the cylinder can provide enough fuel to operate the appliance.
Ifin doubt, check with your local gas supplier.
Alwaysset the cylinder vertically on level ground next to the grill. (UK only)
Usecaution when handling the cylinder valve.
Neverconnect a cylinder which does not meet local codes.
Never store a sparecylinder in close proximity of an operating appliance. Cylinders must not be exposed to extreme heat or direct
sunlight.
CYLINDER INSTALLATION:Setcylinder into hole in bottom shelf.
UKONLY: Place cylinder on level ground next to grill below right side shelf. Donot use bottom shelf to store tank.
IMPORTANT:Ensure that the hose is routed to maintain properclearance to the underside of the unit.
CYLINDERCONNECTION: Ensure that the gas regulator hose is kink free. Remove the cap or plug from the cylinder fuel valve.
Tightenregulator to cylinder valve.
Leaktest all joints prior to using the barbecue.
Aleak test must be performed annually, and each time
acylinder is hooked up, or if a part of the gas system is replaced.
