Click on the “Connection Status” button to display the connection status, as shown below.

This screen shows the following statistics:.
W irel ess P ort Th ese p aram e ters a pp ly to the W i rele ss p ort of the rou ter.
MA C A ddress This field displays the Media A ccess Control address being used b y the
W irel ess po rt of the rou ter.
Nam e (SS I D) This field displays the wireless network name (SSID ) being u sed by the
wireless port of the router. The default is NETG EA R.
Region This field displays the geographic region where the router being used. It
may b e illegal to use the wireless f eatures of the router in some parts of
the w orl d .
Ch annel Iden tifies the channel of the wireless port being used. See “Wireless
Channels” on page D-7 for the frequencies used on each channel.

Item Description
IP A ddress The WA N (In ternet) IP A ddress assigned to the router.
Subn et Mask The WA N (Internet) Subnet Mask assigned to the router.
