Enable motion detection to reduce the effects of subject movement and camera shake when shooting still images.

Motion detection is enabled with some shooting modes or settings, when r is displayed on the shooting screen.
UAutoWhen the camera detects subject movement or camera shake, rturns (default setting) green, and the ISO sensitivity and shutter speed are automatically increased
to reduce blurring.
•Set ISO sensitivity (E34) to Auto in A(auto) mode.
Off | Motion detection is disabled. |
B Notes About Motion Detection
•Motion detection may be unable to eliminate the effects of subject movement and camera shake in some situations.
•Motion detection may be disabled if the subject exhibits significant movement or is too dark.
•The images captured using motion detection may be somewhat “grainy” in appearance.
