Shooting Options: The Shooting Menu
The shooting menu contains the following options (options displayed may differ if My menu is selected for the CSM/Setup option in the setup menu; 101). See “Using Camera Menus” (
9) for more information on using the menus.

Optimize Image (P, S, A, and M Modes)
Optimize contrast, sharpening, and other settings according to how photographs will be used or the type of scene.

At Settings Other than “Custom”
At settings other than Custom:
•Photographs are optimized for current shooting conditions. Results will vary with exposure and the position of the subject in the frame.
•The sRGB color space is used. To use the Adobe RGB color space, select Custom and choose II (Adobe RGB) for Color Mode.
•Use a type G or D lens for best results.
