Functions That Cannot Be Used Simultaneously

Some functions cannot be used with other menu options.

Restricted function	Option	Description
	Continuous (E48)	When a setting other than Single is selected, the
		flash cannot be used.
Flash mode
	Blink proof (E51)	When Blink proof is set to On, the flash cannot be
		used.
Self-timer	Smile timer (E50)	When Smile timer is selected, the self-timer
		cannot be used.
Digital zoom	Continuous (E48)	When Multi-shot 16 is selected, digital zoom
		cannot be used.
Image mode		When Multi-shot 16 is selected, the Image mode
	Continuous (E48)	setting is fixed at L(image size: 2560 × 1920	Reference
White balance	Color options (E49)	selected, the White balance setting is fixed at
		pixels).
		When Black-and-white,Sepia, or Cyanotype is	Section
Continuous	Self-timer (E14)	When the self-timer is used, the setting changes to
		Auto.
		Single.
	Flash mode (E11)	When the flash fires, Motion detection is disabled.
Motion detection
	Continuous (E48)	When Multi-shot 16 is selected, Motion
		detection is disabled.
Shutter sound	Continuous (E48)	When a setting other than Single is selected, the
		shutter sound is disabled.
