1Hold the camera steady.

•Keep fingers, hair, the camera strap, and other objects away from the lens, flash, AF assist-illuminator, and microphone.

The Basics of Shooting and

•When the camera determines the scene mode, the shooting mode icon will change (A 34).

•When the camera detects a human face, that face is framed by a yellow double border (focus area).

•When shooting non-human subjects or when no faces are detected, the camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame. Position the main subject near the center of the frame.
