Shooting Features

1Setting is used when the flash is raised.

2You can select U (auto) or W (off). When U (auto) is selected, the camera automatically

selects the flash mode appropriate for the scene it has selected.

3The setting cannot be changed. Automatically changes to macro mode when the camera selects

Close-up scene mode.

4Cannot be used when Blink proof is set to On.

5Can be set when Smile timer is set to Off.

6The setting cannot be changed.

7The setting cannot be changed. The flash mode setting is fixed at fill flash with slow sync and red-

eye reduction.

8Slow sync with red-eye reduction flash mode may be used.

9Self-timer cannot be used. Pet portrait auto release (A42) can be set to On or Off.
