Recording and Playing Back Movies

Functions Available During Playback

Playback controls are displayed at the top of the monitor.

Press the multi selector J or K to select a control. The

operations described below are available.

Adjusting volume

Rotate the zoom control (A3) during playback.

The COOLPIX S6500 is not able to play back movies recorded with another make or model of digital

camera.

Function Icon Description

Rewind AHold down the k button to rewind the movie.

Advance BHold down the k button to advance the movie.

Pause E

Press the k button to pause playback. The following operations can be

performed while playback is paused using the controls displayed at the top

in the monitor.

CPress the k button to rewind the movie one frame. Hold down the

k button for continuous rewinding.

DPress the k button to advance the movie one frame. Hold down

the k button for continuous advancing.

FPress the k button to resume playback.

I

Press the k button to display the movie edit screen, which allows

you to cut out unwanted portions of a movie and save the desired

portion.

End GPress the k button to return to full-frame playback mode.
