Use this mode to achieve a natural balance between the main subject and background lighting in portraits taken at night. This mode offers the same assist options as portrait assist mode (c 37).

•Electronic VR will be applied when shooting at slow shutter speeds (c 104).

3AF-assist illumination is automatically enabled for [Night portrait].

Q: Use of a tripod is recommended.
