Open the lever on the strap lock and place your hand through the wrist strap. Slide the strap lock up so that the strap will not fall off your wrist. Close the lever to hold the lock in place. Hold the Wii Remote controller firmly during use.

Disconnecting the Nunchuk
Press the lock/release levers on the sides of the Nunchuk plug as shown. Pull the plug straight out of the connector on the bottom of the controller.
