DELETE MESSAGES

If your message memory is full and you have more messages waiting at the network,

or blinks on start screen. You can do the following:

Read some of the unread messages and then delete them.

Delete messages from some of your folders.

A single message

To delete a single message, you need to open it first.

1At the start screen, select Menu > Messages > Text messages.

2Scroll to the folder containing the message you wish to delete and press Select.

3Scroll to the message you wish to delete and press Select.

4Select Options > Delete.

5Press OK to delete the message or Back to exit.

All messages in a folder

1At the start screen, select Menu > Messages > Text messages > Delete messages > All, All read, All unread, Inbox, Sent items, or Archive.

2Scroll to the folder containing the messages you wish to delete and press Select.

Important: If you select All read (or All unread), it deletes any messages which have been read (or unread) in all of the folders. If you select All, all of the messages in all of the folders are deleted.

3 Press OK to empty the folder.

VOICE MESSAGES

If you subscribe to voice mail, your wireless provider will furnish you with a voicemail number. When you receive a voicemail message, your phone lets you know by beeping, displaying a message, or both. If you receive more than one message, your phone shows the number of voicemail messages received.

Save voicemail number

1At the start screen, select Menu > Messages > Voice messages > Voice mailbox number.

After a brief pause, the Mailbox number screen appears in the display.

2If the box is empty, enter the voicemail area code and number.

Your wireless provider may have already saved your voicemail number to your phone. If so, the number will appear in the display. Press OK to leave the number unchanged.

3Press OK.
