	Use the table below as a quick guide for basic functions.

		Press and hold the power key on top of the phone
		for 2 seconds.
	Switch the	Warning: Do not switch on the phone when
	phone on
		wireless phone use is prohibited or when it
		may cause interference or danger.
		1 Enter the area code and phone number.
		2 Press .
	Make a call	3 Hold the phone with the earpiece over
		your ear and microphone near your mouth,
		or connect and use the headset before
		entering the number.
	Answer a call	When your phone rings or vibrates, press .
	End a call	Press .
	Turn Keyguard on	Press Menu	. Keyguard prevents accidental
		calls. (See “Automatic Keyguard” on page 116.)
	Turn Keyguard off	Press Unlock	. (See “Automatic Keyguard” on
		page 116.)
	Silence a call	You can mute the ringing tone of an incoming call
	OR	without terminating the call. Press Silence and the
	Decline a call	ringing tone is muted. After pressing Silence, you
		then have the option to Decline the call.

Important: Do not touch the antenna when the phone is switched on. Contact with the antenna affects call quality and may cause the phone to operate at a higher power level than otherwise needed.
