7Enter the number you wish to add to fixed dialing and press OK.

8Enter the name you wish to assign to the number and press OK.

Saved to SIM card or Saved to Phone appears on screen, depending on which memory you are using.

9Press to return to the Start screen.

•Change access codes

This menu allows you to change the security code, PIN code, PIN2 code, and Restriction password. The phone prompts you to enter the current code as well as the new code. It also asks for verification of the new code.

Note: Avoid using access codes similar to an emergency number such as 911 to prevent accidental dialing of the emergency number.

Change your PIN code

Note: SIM card security (see “SIM card security” on page 71) must be set to On before you can change your PIN code.

1At the Start screen, press Menu.

2Scroll until Settings appears and press the roller.

3Scroll until Security settings appears and press the roller.

4Scroll until Change access codes appears and press the roller.

5Scroll until Change PIN code appears and press the roller.

6Enter the current PIN code and press OK.

7Enter the new PIN code and press OK.

8Re-enter the new PIN code for verification and press OK. PIN code changed appears on screen.

9Press to return to the Start screen.
