2Scroll to Reply and press OK.

3Choose As message or As e-mail and press OK.

4Enter your message and press Options.

5Scroll to Send. Press OK. The phone displays the return number.

6Edit the number as necessary or press Send.

Forward a message

1Press Options.

2Scroll to Forward and press OK.

3Scroll to As message or As e-mail and press OK.

4Edit the message if necessary, then press Options.

5Scroll to Send and press OK.

6The Number prompt appears. Enter the recipient’s phone number and

press OK.

Or, press Search to recall a stored name and phone number. Press OK.

7Press Send.

•SEND TEXT MESSAGES

You can specify whether your phone sends messages as text messages or

e-mail messages. To send a text message:

1Press Menu 1-1-1 (Menu > Messages > Text messages >

Write message).

2Enter your message of up to 160 characters and press Options.

As you enter your message, a count of the remaining number of

characters appears in the top right corner of the screen.

If you need to exit while writing the message, press anytime.

To return, press Menu 1-1-1 and finish writing the message.

3Scroll to Send (or Save to save the message first) and press OK.
