INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE (Macintosh)

This section describes how to install the utility software included with your Floppy Disk Adaptor.

1Start up your computer.

2Insert the Macintosh utility software setup disk (FPD-2ME) into you floppy disk drive. (If you downloaded the program

from a web site, locate the installer file.)

3Double-click the “FPD-2ME” icon.

5The installer starts up; to continue with the installation, follow the instructions displayed on-screen.

6After the installation is completed, double-click “ReadFlashPath” to run the data read utility.

CAUTION

◆Avoid installing the same data read utility program more than once. If two (or more) FlashPath data read utility programs are inadvertently running concurrently, it could damage the floppy disk adaptor or SmartMedia disk.
