5. Underwater Shooting According to the Scene Type

The camera incorporates the following shooting scene modes. Select the one best suited to the underwater scene you are shooting.

Shooting scene modes

UNDER WATER WIDE

Suitable for shooting a wide area such as a school of fish. Lets you take pictures with a rich, more vivid blue background.

UNDER WATER MACRO

Suitable for shooting close-ups of fish. The natural color of the water will appear. If you use the flash, you can enhance the red tones.

TIP• When shooting in the Underwater Wide or Macro mode, pressing the Down cross-cursor button (marked  AF-L) locks the current autofocus setting. (AF Lock)

When the focus is locked, the AF lock mark () on the top left of the LCD monitor screen.
