The C-1VL is equipped with three types of output terminals: AUDIO OUTPUT ANALOG, AUDIO OUTPUT DIGI- TAL (OPTICAL), and AUDIO OUTPUT DIGITAL (COAXIAL). Make appropriate connections according to your audio devices such as amplifier and recorder.

Making Analog Connections to Amplifier and Recorder

When you enjoy analog audio sound or perform analog recording, make analog connection.

When making analog connection, connect the AUDIO OUTPUT ANALOG terminal on the C-1VL to analog audio input terminal on the amplifier or recorder.

When you enjoy digital audio sound or perform digital recording, make digital connection.

The C-1VL is equipped with both optical and coaxial digital terminals, and you can use either of these termi- nals to make digital connection.

When making digital connection, connect the AUDIO OUTPUT DIGITAL terminal on the C-1VL to digital audio input terminal on the amplifier or recorder.

Note:

When you enjoy the audio signal from digital output, turn on the Digital Output function to enable digital signal output.
