1POWER button

Press to turn on and off the C-1VL.

2DISPLAY button

Press to change the displayed information.

3Open [ ] button

Press to open and close the disc tray.

4Pause [ ] button

Press to pause the playback

5Stop [ ] button

Press to stop the playback.

6Play [ ] button

Press to start playback.

Rear Panel

7[/] button

Press to select the previous or next track.

Press and hold to fast reverse and fast forward when playing CDs.

8DIGITAL OUTPUT button

Press to turn on/off the digital output on the C-1VL.

9Play/Pause indicators

Illuminate in play or pause mode.

0TOTAL/REMAIN indicator

Illuminates when the remaining time is shown.

ARepeat indicator

Illuminates during repeat playback.

BRANDOM indicator

Illuminates during random playback.

CMEMORY indicator

Illuminates during memory playback.

AC INLET

With the supplied audio cable, the terminal is used for connecting to the analog input terminals on the devices such as amplifier.

2AUDIO OUTPUT DIGITAL OPTICAL/ COAXIAL

on the devices such as amplifier. These three termi- nals output the sound signal with equal quality. When using the digital connection, you have to turn on the digital output by pressing the DIGITAL OUTPUT button on the C-1VL.

3AC INLET

With the digital optical/coaxial cable, the terminals are used for connecting to the digital input terminals

Plug the supplied power cord into this AC INLET and then into the Power outlet on the wall.
