■Remote controller

This is a multi-function remote controller, so many of the buttons have two or more functions. To use all of these functions, proceed as follows:

1To control this unit or a connected Onkyo MD Recorder, CD Recorder or Cassette Tape Deck, first press the MODE RECEIVER button.

2To control additional functions, press the SHIFT button, then one of the numeric buttons (0-9) within 10 seconds.

3To make settings or control a TV first press the MODE TV/SETUP button. To control the TV, you must first Pre- Program the TV signal. For Programming instructions see page 83.

Press MODE RECEIVER first to use these buttons.
