These settings are stored when the AV receiver is set to Standby.

Muting the AV Receiver

Setting the Display Brightness

You can adjust the brightness of the display.

You can temporarily mute the output of the AV receiver.

Press the remote controller’s [MUTING] button.

Press the remote controller’s [DIMMER] button repeatedly to select:

Normal + VOLUME light on.

Normal + VOLUME light off.

Dim + VOLUME light off.

Dimmer + VOLUME light off.

You can also use the AV receiver’s [DIMMER] button (not European mod- els).

MUTING Adjusting Speaker Levels The output is muted and the MUTING indicator flashes on the display.

To unmute the AV receiver, press the remote control- ler’s [MUTING] button again, or adjust the volume. The output is unmuted and the MUTING indicator goes off. Muting is cancelled when the AV receiver is set to Standby.

Tip:

You can choose how much the output is muted by using the Muting Level preference (see page 78).
