CD, MD, and CDR Modes

To control an Onkyo CD player or a CD/MD recorder made by another manufacturer, press the [CD] REMOTE MODE button to select the CD remote controller mode.

To control an Onkyo MD recorder or CD recorder, press the [MD] or [CDR] REMOTE MODE button to select the MD or CDR remote controller mode.

In order to control an Onkyo MD recorder or CD recorder, or a component made by another manufacturer, you must first enter the appropriate remote control code (see page 86).

ASTANDBY button

Sets the CD player or MD/CD recorder to Standby.

BON button

Set the CD player or MD/CD recorder to On or Standby.

CNumber buttons

Used to enter track numbers and times for locating specific points.

DArrow []/[]/[]/[] and ENTER buttons

Used with some components.

EDISC +/– button
