KPHONES jack (59)

This 1/4-inch phone jack is for connecting a stan- dard pair of stereo headphones for private listening.

LZONE 2 and OFF buttons (83)

The ZONE 2 button is used to turn on Zone 2 and select the input source for Zone 2.

The OFF button is used to turn off Zone 2.

MZONE 2 LEVEL buttons (84)

Set the volume of the Zone 2 speakers.

N TONE, Up [], and Down [ ] buttons (67)

Used to adjust the bass and treble.

OSTEREO button (60)

Selects the Stereo listening mode.

PLISTENING MODE []/[ ] buttons (60)

Select the listening modes.

QDIMMER (RT/PTY/TP) button (51, 58)

Adjusts the display brightness.

On the European model, this is the RT/PTY/TP but- ton, and it’s used with RDS (Radio Data System). See “Using RDS (European Model Only)” on page 50.

RMEMORY button (56)

Used when storing or deleting radio presets.

STUNING MODE button (49)

UArrow/TUNING/PRESET and ENTER buttons

When AM, FM, or XM is selected, the TUNING

[] [ ] buttons are used for radio tuning, and the PRESET [] [ ] buttons are used to select radio presets (see page 56). With the onscreen setup menus, they work as arrow buttons and are used to select and set items. The ENTER button is also used with the onscreen setup menus.

VRETURN button

Selects the previously displayed onscreen setup menu.

WSETUP MIC (40)

The automatic speaker setup microphone connects here.

XVIDEO 4 INPUT (32, 64)

Used to connect a camcorder, game console, and so on. There are jacks for optical digital audio, S-Video, composite video, and analog audio.

Selects the Auto or Manual tuning mode for AM and FM radio.

TSETUP button

Opens and closes the onscreen setup menus, which are displayed on the connected TV.
