Step 4 Viewing and Deleting Pictures

CPlayback Mode

The following options are available in full-frame playback mode.

Option	Use	Description	A
Playback zoom		The picture can be enlarged up to
	g(i)	about 10×. Press k to return to full-	56
		frame playback.
View thumbnails/	f (h)	Display 9, 16, or 25 picture thumbnails,	54
calendar		or the calendar.
Switch to shooting	A	Press Ato return to the last shooting	10
mode		mode selected.

CPower on by pressing c

When the camera is off, hold down c to turn on the camera in playback mode. The lens will not extend.

CViewing Pictures

•Pictures stored in the internal memory can only be viewed if no memory card is inserted.

•Pictures taken with face priority (A 24) will be automatically rotated when viewing them full- frame.

•While the monitor is off in standby mode to save power, press c or the power switch to turn the monitor on (A 105).

CDeleting the last picture taken while in shooting mode

Basic Photography and Playback: Easy Auto Mode

In shooting mode, press l to delete the last picture taken.

DSelecting multiple pictures for deletion

When Delete (A 90) is selected from the playback menu (A 87), multiple pictures can be deleted.
