Installation and Charger
1. Connectthemains adaptor(supplied)to thesocketon
thebackofthebaseunitandtothewallmainssupply.
2. Connectthetelephone cordtothe phonesocketon the
backofthebaseunitandintothewallphonesocket.
3.Insert 2rechargeable Ni-MHAAA
1.2V800mAh batteries(included),
observingthe correctpolarity,into
thebattery compartmenton the
handset.Slidethebatterydoorrmlyintoplace.
4. Placethehandsetonthechargingcradle andchargethe
batteriesforafull15hoursbeforeusingitforthersttime.
Select your country
After the phone is fully charged you will need to select
your country. The phone will display Welcome. Press
[ ]. Scroll [ ] or [ ]toselectAustraliaorNew
Zealand. Press [ ]againtoconrm.
Note:
Itmay takesome timefor thecordless handsettopower up,
and it may get warm during initial charge. This is normal.
It is good practice to put the cordless handset on the charging
cradle when it is not in use to ensure that the handset is always
fully charged.

Reverseinsertionof thebattery cellcan resultinleakage
or explosion.
•Removethebatteries ifyoudonotplantouse theproduct
for several months at a time.

packingmaterials,exhausted batteriesandused phone.
