SD Memory Card Security Function
Reenter the password for confirmation.
zWhen you add the check mark for [Do not check the user name]:
A confirmation message will be displayed.
If you select [Yes], you can register a user name and password on the SD
memory card that is not set in Windows.
In this case, when restarting the computer after completing the settings,
enter the Windows user name and password to log on without using the SD
memory card. After changing the user name and password according to
those set on the SD memory card, you will be able to use it to log on.
Select [OK].
Select [Yes] on the confirmation screen.
A [Private] folder will be created in the SD memory card, and a Windows logon user
name and password will be registered.
Do not delete [Private] folder. Doing so will cancel [Use when logging on to
Windows].
zTo use both when starting the computer and when logging on to Windows
Add the check mark to both [Use when starting computer] and [Use when logging
on to Windows], and input supervisor password, user password, and other
information according to the instructions on the screen.(Îpage 55)
In the Function fails to Operate Correctly
zThe computer does not respond properly when you insert the SD memo ry card.
Remove the card and wait a few seconds, then reinsert it. Or, enter each password.
zThe SD memory card indicator is blinking.
Enter the password through the keyboard without removing the SD memory card.
A software application, etc. may be accessing the SD memory card.
zThe password input screen and the Windows logon screen does not appear.
If [Leave set] was selected as the setting method:
If an SD memory card is already inserted when starting the computer, the each screen
does not appear when the computer is started.
