A blue background appears on the screen with the MPEG image or DVD Video
zDid you open the CD/DVD drive or remove the disc while it was operating?
Insert the removed disc, and close the disc cover.
<Only for CF-T8 Series>
The display cannot be changed and the operation of the Touch Pad and the
touchscreen do not match the display angle
zWhen some applications are running, the display may not be rotated and the operation of the Touch Pad and the touch-
screen may not match the display angle. Press the
Alt
+
X
key to rotate the display to the landscape mode. After exiting
the application, rotate the display, then start up the application again.
zIf the problem persists, restart the computer.
The LCD brightness changes a number of times when the AC adaptor is disconnected
zIntel video driver power saving function (Intel(R) Display Power Saving Technology) (Î page 35) is active and automati-
cally changes the LCD brightness.
Image colors are not reproduced as expected when displaying photographs or
other images
zWe recommend disabling the [Intel video driver power saving function (Intel(R) Display Power Saving Technology)].

Nothing appears on the external display, or the display is not correct
zCheck that the external display cables are correctly connected.
zCheck that the external display is turned on.
zCheck that the external display settings are correct.
zWhen an external display not compatible with the power-saving mode is used with the computer, the display may not func-
tion correctly when the computer enters the power-saving mode. In this case, turn on the external display again.
However, in the case of some external displays, the screen display may be distorted or the mouse cursor may not be prop-
erly displayed depending on the settings. In this case, try setting the number of colors, screen area (resolution), and
refresh rate to smaller values.
